About this program
The North Carolina Council of Teachers of Mathematics funds special projects and research that improve the teaching, learning and enjoyment of mathematics. Any project qualifies as long as students receive an ongoing benefit. Mini-grants are open to current NCCTM members and are awarded by the Eastern, Central and Western regions to members within their boundaries, so be sure to pick the correct region. About 15 to 20 proposals are funded each year, with an average grant of about $750. Funds are sent after the state conference. Allowable uses: special projects and research that benefit students in mathematics. The funder states the deadline as "September 30, 2027 (annual deadline). NCCTM says a second January round is possible if funding allows.". Verify details on the funder's own page before applying.
